1st and 2nd class physicals only at this time.
We will be offering 3rd class physicals in the near future however, the FAA requires our shop to complete a certain amount of first class and second class physicals beforehand.

2nd Class Medical
For Commercial Pilots
A Second Class medical supports pilots who fly for compensation or hire, but not under ATP requirements. It’s still a professional‑grade exam, just with slightly less strict thresholds than First Class.
What it includes

Vision: 20/20 distant vision; 20/40 near vision.

Color vision: Must be adequate for safe aircraft operation.

General physical exam: Cardiovascular, neurological, ENT, mental health, and overall fitness.

EKG: Only if medically indicated.

Validity: Good for 12 months for commercial privileges, then reverts to Third Class duration.
Who it’s for
Charter pilots, flight instructors being paid to instruct, aerial survey pilots, pipeline patrol, banner tow, and other commercial operations.
3rd Class Medical
For Private, Recreational, and Student PilotsA Third Class medical is the entry‑level FAA medical certificate.
It’s designed for pilots flying non‑commercial operations and has the least restrictive standards.What it includes-

Vision: 20/40 distant vision in each eye; 20/40 near vision.

Color vision: Must be sufficient for safe aviation tasks.

General physical exam: Evaluates overall health, mental status, neurological function, and cardiovascular fitness.

EKG: Not required unless medically necessary.

Validity: Typically 60 months for pilots under 40, and 24 months for pilots 40 and older.
Who it’s for Private pilots, recreational pilots, student pilots, and flight instructors acting as PIC without compensation.
